All food is cooked on or in the Aga in a healthy way without any unnecessary added fat, including, believe it or not, fried eggs. We obtain our food from local farms and suppliers so that we can be assured of the quality and freshness. Our meals are freshly prepared from the basic ingredients.
Full Welsh Breakfast: This consists of fruit juice and your choice from a range of top brand cereals followed by any or all of the following - local farm eggs (cooked any which way), bacon, sausage, fresh tomato, mushrooms, potatoes of the day (sauteed or home made rosti) and baked beans. This is served with granary or white bread toast plus a choice of preserves and home made marmalade. Tea, coffee or hot chocolate are available as drinks. Fresh fruit and yoghurt are always available. For those with smaller appetites or who would just like to ring the changes please ask for a lighter alternative such as apple pancakes or rosti and eggs.
Packed Lunch: Typically this would contain a large roll or sandwich with a filling of your choice, together with a piece of fruit, packet of crisps, slice of cake, bottle of water, carton of juice and, if required, small flask of tea or coffee.
Dinner:
Evening meals are available upon request and with reasonable prior notice. Please contact us before arrival so that we can discuss menu suggestions.
